Working Safely and Growing Old Softly

According to the Bureau of Labor, fifteen people die on the job on any given day, while another 7,600 will suffer non-fatal injuries. Champion’s Positive Safety Culture was built to keep our employees from becoming one of these statistics. And of all the benefits of our safety culture, none are as important as seeing our workers age gracefully and softly—without lingering injuries.

Champion provides everything you need to safely achieve your daily tasks, from training and accident prevention to safety procedures and quality tools. We ask every member of our community to seek out and use these resources to improve their safety knowledge and support teammates in maintaining an incident-free workplace.

After all, growing old softly without the effects of lingering injuries or repetitive trauma is a choice we make every day—a choice to work safely. That commitment is ingrained in our DNA and has helped us maintain a proven safety record.

Thank you for choosing to stay safe. And thank you for everything you do at Champion.

Crew of the Month

Mid-Florida Amphitheater

Asphalt. Rough weather. Tight timeline. Nothing could come between our Mid-Florida Amphitheater crew and a job done well.

Audits, inspections, and training ensured that the team had everything it needed to operate with the highest safety standards—even as constant live events forced them to repeatedly remove and replace lawn protection, sound sails, and equipment.

But nothing could disrupt the team’s focus.

They adapted to changes throughout the project without getting frustrated or complacent, all while protecting the client’s workers and property. They truly worked together as a team to make the project a success.
